Oct. 27 2010:
A persistent problem we had: PHP function eregi() is deprecated as of PHP v5.3 and not recommended as of 5.1. This function was causing errors in the script. Each time a fix was implemented, it produced other subsequent errors. PHP should have fixed the issues with eregi() function instead of scrap it. Nevertheless, today upon final testing, the errors have disappeared (finally, thank God). Script will be released after some minor testing tonight.

Aug.14 2010:
Apologies to all users for delay in release of new version 3.0. Some reasons for the delay was 1) that our dev. team programmer was dispatched to Haiti for earthquake relief and 2) the script needed a revamp due to some shortcomings which required an overhaul, see forum page for more information.

Jan. 15 2010:
Some features v3.0: Fully modified templates -- the sites can look totally different instead of the same old mold. Page numbers improved. Admin - IP toggle, category sort. Bug fixes, and many other goodies also included!! Will announce release soon. Of course, you will see it in your admin panel automatically when you login, if you currently use DDLCMS.

Jan. 12 2010:
The new distribution is version 3.0 and is now complete! Will be released after packaging, shortly.

Nov. 28 2009:
Fixes and mods for release 2.2 have begun! This version has things to make things 10x easier in AdminCP! It rocks!

Nov. 6 2009:
6 new skins released for v2.1!

Nov. 5 2009:
DDLCMS v2.1 is released. Skins on the way.

Nov. 4 2009:
DDLCMS v2.1 UPGRADE is released for some minor bug fixes. Once the upgrade is confirmed by end-users, DDLCMS v2.1 (full download) will be released for download.

After v2.1 download is posted, 6 new skins will be released.

Oct. 25, 2009:
There is a delay with the delivery of the package because communication with the dev. team has been cut off due to power outage at their location. We know, many of you are patiently waiting and this just a minor setback. Awaiting on communication from dev. team.

Oct. 6, 2009:
All Mods and testing is complete. Script is ready to release after HTML validation is corrected.

Sept. 15, 2009:
Although development of the next release has taken a while, there are a ton of additions, new features, and fixes that have gone into the script, so anyone waiting for it - it's well worth it!!! All major mods are done. Couple minor mods going in now, and following a testing period the script will be ready for release.

August 1, 2009:
A huge ruckus was caused on wjunction by the owner of WCDDL, where he posted a message saying that DDLCMS sends out "hidden spam." To clear things up: it's a free script based on KDDL which sends out an "autoresponder" an compliance with the Privacy Policy included in the Terms of Use page with the default distro (2nd paragraph).. Spam is defined as unsolicited email advertising -- this script sends out a confirmation/status of submitted files, as well as an email informing the submitter about DDLCMS features and where to get it (which is perfectly acceptable and not "spam"), nevertheless, the feature request is the option to turn on/off the autoresponder in the Admin CP -- this will be included in the upcoming release.

Initial release was too buggy. Some critical bugs fixed and the release has been updated -- still v1.0.
